What is Usability?
The usability of a Website depends on what the goals of the site are and what the users are trying to accomplish at this particular site. Whatever the goals may be, information is the key. Therefore, the more a site helps people find the information they are searching for, the more usable the Website is. There are general guidelines that all Websites should follow and there are also specific guidelines for certain types of Websites, such as e-commerce sites. The number one thing to keep in mind when developing a Website is usability. If your site contains information that is difficult to find, the user will simply leave and try to find the information on another site.
