What applications are good to learn for Web development?
The three types that come to mind are Web authoring programs, graphics programs, and an animation program. If you are pretty serious about designing Websites, we recommend having at least these three types. Some examples include, Adobe GoLive or Macromedia DreamWeaver to develop Webpages, Adobe Photoshop or Corel Draw for graphics, and Macromedia Flash to create vector based animations and interactive Websites.
